What Constitutes a Trained Leader?

Now what constitutes a fully trained leader? Some of the training sessions are done on the computer at the On-Line Center (OLC) at www.scouting.org. Other sessions are done eye ball to eye ball in the District or Council (LCT) level.

The web site for training is: www.scouting.org

Once there, each person will need to set up an account on the "MyScouting" tab, then look for training under the volunteers link. If they are new and do not have their member number yet, ask them to print the training certificates and bring them to the sessions in October. They will need Fast Start for their position, Youth Protection and This Is Scouting completed to be considered fully trained.

These sessions are an introduction to Cub Scout Leadership and are for all new parents that are going to be Den Leaders, Cubmasters, Assistants, etc.

Check the website often for training sessions and locations.
