Summer Camps

At resident Summer Cub Camp, Tiger Cubs to Webelos I enjoy a fun and exciting experience. Make Cub Scout Resident Camp one of the first steps to your Scouting success.

Program Areas:

Improved Waterfront - The waterfront area is a favorite for most Cubs. Whether working towards rank advancement or just to have fun, the Waterfront offers Cubs row boating, swimming, and fishing.

Nature Nook - Offers a Cub Scout an opportunity to fulfill his curiosity and wonder of the natural world around him, the turtle pond gives hands-on experience that every Scout will remember.

Cubcraft - Cubs have the opportunity to make a project that can serve as a keepsake of their time at camp. Also at Cubcraft, Cubs challenge themselves and others with the various elements of the Obstacle Course.

Archery Range - The Archery Range gives Scouts a chance to shoot targets with real bows and arrows.

BB Gun Range - The BB Gun Range gives the Scouts a chance to learn firearm safety and marksmanship in a safe and controlled environment.

Sports - Newly added Human Foosball court that gives Cub Scouts a workout in a team environment. What Cub wouldn't want to have fun and compete with and against their friends - with a wide variety of other sports activities and games available.

The Webelos Adventure Summer Camp is 4 days and 3 nights of fun and excitement and the next step in Scouting toward achieving their Eagle Scout rank.

Program Areas:

Waterfront - The waterfront area is a highlight for most Webelos Scouts. Whether working towards an advancement (aquanaut), or just to have fun, the Waterfront offers Scouts boating (kayaks and rowboats), fishing, and swimming throughout the day.

Scoutcraft - The Scoutcraft area is where Scouts learn outdoor skills. Webelos can hone their Scout skills such as fire building, cooking, knot tying and using woodsman tools.

Nature Area - With it's aquariums, library, displays, and turtle pond, the Nature Center has more than enough to fulfill a Scout's curiosity and wonder of the natural world around him.

Handicraft - This area offers the best Handicraft program around with all the proper tools needed to make projects in leather.

Rifle Range - The rife range gives Scouts a chance to learn firearms safety and marksmanship in a safe and controlled environment, using BB guns on a more challenging range.

Archery Range - The archery range gives Scouts a chance to improve their archery skills by shooting at more challenging targets. Always a favorite of campers.
